3 oz. box lime gelatin
1 (15 oz.) can pears
1 c. pear juice, heated
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. heavy cream, whipped

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pears, reserving juice. Chop pears and set aside. Heat pear juice. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Whisk in cream cheese until smooth. Add chopped pears. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into 2 qt. bowl or 9x13 dish. Chill until firm.

My maternal-grandma, Jeannette Miller, made this and other jello salads for Sunday dinner. Be careful not to over-whip the cream or you'll have butter!
