(may use Rice Chex, Corn Chex. or combination instead of Crispex)

¼ c. vegetable oil
¾ c. butter
Dash of Tabasco

Directions:
Mix cereal, nuts, pretzels thoroughly. Place in large roaster pan.

Melt butter and vegetable oil and add liquids and spices. Pour this mixture over the dry mixture, small amounts at a time, stirring frequently and thoroughly. This prevents clumping and sticking to bottom of roaster pan.

Bake at 200º for 2 hours, stir very vigorously for 30 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was Alice Bothmer's recipe and a favorite of all the kids and grandchildren. Grandpa's preference is lots of nuts and few pretzels.
