1 cup Crisco
1 ½ cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2 ¾ cup Plain Flour
2 tsp Cream of Tartar
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Soda
1 tsp Vanilla

Cinnamon mixture to roll dough in:
4 tsp Sugar
4 tsp ground Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients. Set aside. Cream together sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Stir dry ingredients into shortening mixture, stir in vanilla. Shape into walnut size balls. Roll each one in cinnamon mixture. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350°for 10 minutes or until cookies begin to fall.
