1 can crushed pineapples (do not drain)
1 can cherry or apple pie filling
1 box of white or yellow cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts
1 or 2 sticks margarine (sliced)
1 large container Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
In ungreased 9x13 inch baking pan, dump pineapple into bottom of pan, spreading evenly. Sprinkle 1/2 cake mix evenly over pineapple. Spread pie filling evenly over cake mix. Sprinkle other 1/2 of cake mix on top of the pie filling. Sprinkle chopped nuts all over top of cake, DO NOT STIR. Add slices of margarine over entire top of cake. Bake for 55 minutes in preheated oven at 350ºF. If top is not crispy brown, turn oven to 400ºF and bake for another 10 minutes.Remove from oven. Allow to cool completely. Top with Cool Whip.
