2 Qts Ripe Strawberries
¼ Cup Lemon Juice
7 Cups Sugar
½ Bottle Liquid Fruit Pectin

Wash berries,pat dry and hull. Crush completely one layer at a time. Measure 3¾ cups fruit into a large saucepan. Add lemon juice and sugar to fruit. Mix well. Place over high heat, stirring constantly and boil hard for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in liquid pectin. Skim off foam with slotted spoon. Skim and stir by turns for 5 minutes to cool slightly and prevent floating fruit. Ladle into hot sterilized jelly glasses.
Cover with ⅛ inch layer melted paraffin When cold attach metal lids.

You can also heat the lids and once the Jam is saddled into the jars you can put on the hot lids.
