Ingredients:  
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 eggs
1 quart scalded milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and eggs in a blender; process until smooth. Gradually add scalded milk, blending until well mixed. Pour mixture into top of double boiler. Place over boiling water and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Chill thoroughly. When ready to serve, pour custard into blender; add vanilla and whipping cream and blend until smooth.

A favorite of Mom's and was usually only made at Christmas. It was given to her years ago by a special lady, Maude Bolton, also known as Nannaw.
