1 c. chopped or ground suet
1 c. sugar
1 c. dry bread crumbs
1 c. raisins
1 c. milk, sweet or slightly sour
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
salt to taste
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in little hot water

Stir all together, put in molds, steam until done. Serve with lemon or vinegar sauce.
