Ingredients:
1-2 tablespoons oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup water
1 cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) pkg cream cheese
2-3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in oil until very soft and tender and slightly browned; at least 10 minutes or more. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. Add water and cook until the water is mostly evaporated. Do not skip this step, this will help deglaze the pan and loosen up the bits of onion that are full of flavor. In a food processor, mix onion mixture with remaining ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
