1 c. milk
1 c. lukewarm water
1 cake yeast
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
juice of one lemon
nutmeg & salt
7 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and let set until lukewarm. Add yeast to lukewarm water. Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat. Add lemon juice, nutmeg and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and water mixture.
