2/3 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. honey
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. milk or fruit juice
2 c. chopped raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening, honey and salt. Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk or fruit juice. Add raisins. Makes 2 deep loaf pans. Moderate oven. 1 hour.
