1 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond flavouring
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. red cherries chopped
1/2 c. green cherries chopped
1/2 c. candied yellow pineapple cut up

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter with sugars, egg, and flavouring. Sift dry ingredients into creamed mixture. Mix well, add and work in candied fruit. Mix and shape into 2 rolls. Leave plain or brush with egg white and roll in coconut if desired. Roll in waxed paper. Chill. Slice 1/4"-1/3" thick and bake at 350ºF for about 10 minutes.
