1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 stick oleo
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Pour water over oatmeal and oleo. Let stand for 20 minutes. Add sugars and eggs. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 9X13 pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350º.

Topping:
1/4 c. milk, 1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 c. butter
1 c. coconut, 1 c. chopped pecans

Heat until well blended over low heat. Top cake immediately after removing from the oven, then broil for 5 minutes or until browned on top.
