2 C. flour
1 1/4 C. sugar, divided to 1 C. and 1/4 C.
3 T. baking powder
3 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, divided, divided to 1 1/2 tsp. and 2 tsp.
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 C. buttermilk
1/3 C. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
3 T. butter or margarine, melted

Preheat oven to 350º.

Combine flour, 1 C. sugar, baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and salt. In another bowl, combine the eggs, buttermilk, oil and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients until smooth. Pour half into greased 9 X 5 X 3 loaf pan. In a small bowl, combine remaining sugar and cinnamon, stir in butter. Drizzle half of this over the batter in the loaf pan and cut through with a knife to swirl. Then pour remaining batter on top and drizzle with remaining cinnamon - sugar mixture and swirl.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until toothpick in the center comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes and invert on wire rack to completely cool.
