1 C. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 C. cocoa
1/2 C. milk
2 T. melted shortening
1 C. chopped nuts
1 C. packed brown sugar
1/4 C. cocoa
1 3/4 C. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cocoa in a bowl. Stir in shortening and milk. Blend in nuts. Spread into greased 9 X 9 pan. Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar and cocoa. Pour hot water into the batter. Pour batter into pan and bake for 45 minutes. Invert and serve warm with ice cream or Cool Whip.
