Directions: |
Directions:Wash the cabbages and carrot. Cut cabbage into quarter sections. Slice each quarter cabbage individually - by lying flat on chopping board - to make thin strips of cabbage. (similar to long strings) cut and dice carrots the same. Combine all wet ingredients with the dry seasonings. Let stand in order that a creamy consistency forms. Fold in the shredded cabbages and carrots in a large bowl. Mix well with a large spoon - dipping from the base of the bowl to the top - until the cabbage is completely mixed. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Coleslaw is great with seafood, on sandwiches, such as chili dogs, burgers and barbeque. It is a great side to serve at cookouts. Always keep it refrigerated especially during summer months to avoid spoiling. Remember, it contains mayonnaise. |
