2 1/4 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Combine egg yolks, milk and oil. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff; fold into batter. Pour batter onto preheated waffle iron. Cook until golden brown.

This recipe is from my Grandma Miller. Growing up, my parents would try to cook these without blowing the fuses! I would double the recipe so I could freeze some for a quick breakfast but they usually didn't make it to breakfast. Jenna, Jordan and Daniel would eat them right from the freezer!
