1/4 c. soft butter

Directions:
Put warm water in mixer. Add yeast, oil and 3 c. flour. Mix well. Add salt and rest of flour until you have a soft dough. Knead for about 8 minutes in mixer.

Lay dough onto a greased cookie sheet, or stone and roll with a floured rolling pin until dough is even. Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and or garlic salt.

Using pizza cutter, slice dough into long strips the whole length of the cookie sheet. Do not lift the dough off the cookie sheet. Now make a crosswise cut so that you have breadstick shapes. Let the dough rise on the sheet for about 20 minutes in a warm place. Bake at 375º for about 20-25 minutes.

This is an easy fun side dish for soup or just about anything. My kids would be looking for an afternoon snack and this recipe is easy enough, they would just whip it out for snack time. Great kid recipe!
