APPLE CARAMEL CAKE


1 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp vanilla
1 egg
1 cup milk


3 cups chopped apples
2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups boiled water
2 tbsp melted butter

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. whisk flour and baking powder together in a small bowl
2. Beat sugar, oil, vanilla and egg together in a bowl until smooth. Stir in flour and milk
alternately into sugar mixture. Pour into 9" square pan. Place apples on top.
3. Dissolve br. sugar in hot water, then stir in the melted butter. Drizzle over the pudding.
4. bake about 40min. until golden brown. Serves 8-10

This is a Great dessert for after a big meal. Not too sweet
