2 cups plus 2 T all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter - room temperature
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract - real
4 squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon and set aside. Beat butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl with electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in eggs until mixture is pale. Beat in vanilla and chocolate until blended. With mixer on low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture just until blended. Refrigerate for 1 hour until firm enough to handle. Lightly grease cookie sheet with butter. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in confectioners' sugar. Place 1 1/2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheet.
Bake 12 minutes - no longer. Remove to wire rack to cool.
