3 c. sifted cake flour
1 T. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1/3 c. crisco
1/3 c. butter (softened)
1 t. grated orange rind
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. fresh orange juice
1/2 cup milk
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add shortening and sugar. Then mix in orange juice, milk, eggs, and orange rind. Place in a cake pan (sorry no pan size given, baking time, or temp.!). Cool completely. Frost with orange frosting.

Orange Frosting:
1 lb. confectioner's sugar
1 T. melted butter
1 t. orange rind grated
Enough fresh orange juice to make a medium thick frosting
Mix together and spread on cooled cake
