2 1/2 c. half and half
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. heavy whipping cream
2 t. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped candy bars

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 1 cup half and half and sugar in medium saucepan over medium heat until bubbles form around edge of the pan, stirring often to dissolve sugar. Pour into heatproof medium bowl set in a larger bowl of iced water. Stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups half and half, cream and vanilla.
Let stand for 1 hour or until chilled, stirring often and adding more ice as needed. Or cover and refrigerate overnight.
Attach frozen Kitchen Aid Ice Cream Maker bowl and dasher to stand mixer. Turn mixer to stir, pour cold mixture into bowl with mixer running. Continue to stir 20-30 minutes or until consistency of soft-serve ice cream. Stir in candy during the last 2 minutes of mixing.
Transfer ice cream to airtight container and freeze several hours until firm. This ice cream is best served within 24 hours of churning.
