Ingredients:
Pickles
1 qt. White Vinegar
3 qts Water
1 Cup Canning Salt
Dill
Garlic Cloves
Hot Yellow Pepper (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Sterilize Jars. (I do this in my dishwasher & just before packing with pickles, I run VERY hot water in jar again)

To make brine, mix the first 3 ingredients together. Boil until salt dissolves. Put dill on bottom, middle & top of jar & add chunk of garlic. Pack jars tightly with pickles. Pour hot brine to cover pickles within 1/4" of top. Check for air bubbles, release with table knife & refill with more brine. Wipe off top of jars & seal tightly at once. (Don't be skimpy with the dill).

Heat oven with door open to 250-300. Put jars in oven. Close oven door & bake 15 minutes. Turn off heat. Leave jars in oven until cool. DO NOT open oven. (I leave in oven over night).

I add a chunk of hot yellow pepper (seeds removed) to each jar to add a little zing. Wear gloves when working with peppers!!
