4 1/2 c. sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) bag real chocolate chips (not semi-sweet)
1 (about 14 oz.) bag mini marshmallows (can use a little more, but not too much)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Mix sugar, evaporated milk, and butter together and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes. 234º or soft ball stage. Then add vanilla while boiling. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips, marshmallows, and nuts. Pour into a 9x11" pan. Cool and cut.
