3 lbs. beef stew meat cut into 1" cubes
1/3 cup Italian salad dressing
2 cups water
2 tsp beef bouillon granules or 4 cubes
1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes
1 can (10.5 oz.) condensed beef broth
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 clove minced garlic
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp black pepper
6 med potatoes cubed
6 carrots sliced
1/2 green pepper, cut in 1/2 in pieces
1 onion chopped
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons cold water

In a large dutch oven heat, cook and stir the beef cubes and salad dressing until browned (about 5 min.) Add 2 cups water, beef bouillon, diced tomatoes, beef broth, tomato sauce, garlic, bay leaf, salt, pepper and oregano bring to a boil. Reduce heat to med-low and simmer until meat is tender (about 1 1/2 hours).

Place potatoes, carrots, bell pepper and onion in stew; cover and cook on med-low until veg are tender (45 min.). In 30 minutes add 3 cups of frozen peas and continue to cook until all veg are tender.Combine flour and water in a small bowl and mix until smooth. Stir flour mixture into the stew and bring to a boil; cook and stir until stew is thickened (about 2 min.). Discard bay leaf before serving.
