1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup sifted flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2- 5 3/4 ounce packages Hershey Kisses
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar, and 1/2 cup sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift in flour, soda, and salt. Blend well. Shape into balls (teaspoon) and roll in 1/2 cup sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes. Press kiss into center of each cookie. Bake 3-5 minutes longer or until cookies are golden brown.
