1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup lard
1 cup butter
3 eggs, well beaten
1 cup finely chopped nuts
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp soda, sifted with 3 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortenings and sugars. Add eggs, then flour, spice and nuts. Shape into rolls 2 inches in diameter and refrigerate overnight. Slice thin and bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees until golden brown.
