2 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
5 eggs separated
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c . buttermilk
1 c. pecans
2 c. coconut

ICING
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar and add egg yolks one at a time; mix well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to cream mixture alternately with buttermilk. Mix in nuts and coconut. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter. Bake in 3 greased and floured round cake pans. Bake at 325º for about 30 minutes.
