1 1/4 c. cornmeal
1 1/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
dash of baking soda
1 egg
buttermilk (enough to make batter)
dash of salt

Directions:
Heat oven to 420º. Mix all ingredients together. Heat cast iron skillet with bacon grease. Add batter to hot skillet. Bake for 18 to 20 minute.
