½ lb butter
2 cups light Karo
2 cups sugar
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to a boil together (250 – 320)

Add 1 can of evaporated milk slowly so the mixture doessn’t stop boiling. Boil to firm ball stage (245 – 250). Remove from the heat and add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts (optional).

Place in well buttered 9 x 13” pan and cool. Cut and wrap in wax paper.
