Part A
5 cups of blended oatmeal
4 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Part B
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
2 sticks salted butter
1 cup shortening

Part C
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

1 large semi-sweet chocolate bar
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (can vary amount)

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375F. Mix ingredients in Part A and set aside. Mix together ingredients in Part B. Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Mix well and add the chocolate. Drop by large heaping tablespoons onto cookie sheet. Bake for approx. 13 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes then put on a wire rack to cool.
