1 c. Sugar
3/4 c. Crisco
1/4 c. Maple Syrup, Grade B if you can find it
1 Egg
1/4 tsp. Maple Flavoring (try 1 tsp.)
2 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, Crisco, maple syrup, egg, and maple flavoring. Beat in sifted flour, baking soda, and salt.

Roll into small balls and roll balls in sugar.

Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.
