1 can 40 ounce sweet potatoes or yams, drained
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. melted butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 T. vanilla

Topping:
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients (except topping) in a mixer and mix until well combined. Place in a 9x9 casserole dish.

Mix topping ingredients until it resembles very course crumbs. Crumble on top of sweet potatoes.

Bake at 350º for about 30 to 40 minutes, until browned and bubbly.

This recipe was handed down by the Goldsmith family. It has become a Watson family tradition for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Mr. Rust requests it every year. When you double it, it will fill a 13x9 and it is a very rich dish.
