Ingredients:  
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. corn starch
3 egg yolks
dash of salt
1 c. canned milk
1 c. water
1 tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in sauce pan & cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, pour into browned pie shell, add meringue or cool whip topping if desired. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
Daddy's favorite add in to this pie filling was coconut, but you can also add bananas or 3 1/2 tbsp. of cocoa to make chocolate. Enjoy.
