1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 T. Karo syrup

1 uncooked cup of popcorn (popped)

Pop popcorn. Place in large bowl. Place the rest of ingredients in a saucepan and cook until sugar is melted and mixture is bubbly. Pour sugar mixture on popcorn and stir until well combined.

This recipe was handed down by the Goldsmith family but Jeff has made some modifications. It is now Dad's Carmel Corn. Jeff would come down from his office and make carmel corn for an afternoon snack. The kids were always delighted and most of the time we had a house full of their friends that were delighted also..
