Pastry for 9" pie shell
1/2 cup sugar
3 T flour
2 T Cornstarch
2 lb Cook Apples - about 6 cps.
1 large egg
1 cp sour cream
1/4 cp sugar
1/2 tsp gr. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Roll out pastry, flute edge. Combine 1st. amount of sugar, flour, and cornstarch in large bowl. Add apple. Stir until coated. Turn into pie shell. Mix egg and sour cream. Spoon evenly over apple mixture. Combine second amount of sugar and cinnamon in small dish. Sprinkle over sour cream mixture. Bake on bottom rack in 350º for about 1 1/4 hour until crust is golden and apples are tender.
