3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Cook milk and rice in double boiler until rice is done, about 1 hour. Simmer
raisins in small amount of water, turn off burner and let raisins absorb the water. Beat eggs until light and add the sugar. Put a few spoons of the hot milk mixture into the egg mixture and then add the egg mixture to the milk. Cook only until the eggs are done. If you cook to long it will curdle. Add vanilla and stir. Sprinkle the top with sugar and nutmeg.
