1 can artichoke hearts (14 oz., drained)
4 large cloves garlic, minced
1/2 + 2 tsp finely grated asiago or parmesan cheese
1 T. lemon juice
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
Chips, crackers or raw veggies for dipping

Directions:
Directions:
Finely chop artichoke hearts along with garlic. Combine the 1/2 cup cheese, lemon juice, mayo and cream cheese. Mix well with the artichoke garlic mixture. Put mixture in 1 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs and the remaining cheese. Bake 20 minutes at 375 until bubbly.

This recipe is from the "Horn of the Moon Cookbook". Joann and I like this cookbook in the late 80s. I think I discovered on a trip to Boston. I made this recipe for the first time for Lewis' birthday gathering at Jim's new house.
