Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Make dough day before and refrigerate in order that it roll better:
3 cups flour
1 cup shortening
1 cup ice water
1 teaspoon salt

2-1/2 lb. hamburger seasoned with 1 pkg. dry Lipton soup, salt to taste and meat seasoning of your choice such as Johnny's, 2 medium potatoes cut in small chunks and 1 medium onion diced. Mix meat, potato and onion together.

Roll out dough like for pie thickness to twice size of your pastie loaf. Lay meat, potato and onion mixture on middle half of dough and bring dough together in middle of top and seam. Close ends of dough. Bake on cookie sheet first in hot oven 425 degrees approximately 15 minutes. Then reduce to 325 degrees for 1 hour. I serve mine with beef gravy.
