Apple Filling:
1/2 c unsalted butter
3T flour
1/2c sugar
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/4c water
8 Granny Smith apples (peeled,cored, and sliced)

Pie Crust:
1 1/2 c flour
pinch of salt
1/2 c crisco (cold)
4T water

Directions:
Directions:
Pie Crust:
Add flour, pinch of salt, and crisco into a bowl. Use a pastry cutter to mix the ingredients. Put a hole in the middle and add water. Use a fork to stir until dough follows fork.

Filling:
Place the apples in the pie crust. Melt butter in sauce pan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Add sugar, brown sugar, and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce temp. and let simmer for 5 min. Pour the sauce over the apples.

Bake at 400 for 10 min, then bake at 350 for 1 hour.
