Cream together:
2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar

Add:
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together in another bowl, and add to creamed mixture:
4 c. flour
5 c. oatmeal (ground into a powder in a blender)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

Add:
32 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 c. chopped nuts

Directions:

Roll into 2 inch balls. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not over bake.
