4 squares Baker's unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. butter (1 1/2 sticks)
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Additional add ins:
mini marsh-mellows
semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Heat oven to 350º and line 13x9 inch pan with foil or parchment paper, with ends of foil extending over sides. Lightly grease foil.

Microwave chocolate and butter in a large microwaveable bowl on high 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar: blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and any additional add ins, mix well. Spread into prepared pan.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not over bake.) Cool completely. Use foil or paper to lift brownies from pan before cutting to serve.
