1 packet dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup butter
4 3/4 cups sifted Pillsbury flour
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 cup lukewarm scalded milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
5 T melted butter
1 cup parmesan cheese

Soften yeast in water. Cut butter into 3 cups flour; blend in eggs, milk, sugar, salt and yeast. Gradually add remaining flour to form stiff dough, mixing well after each addition. Cover with foil. Chill 2-3 hours.

Divide dough into 5 parts. Roll out 1 part on floured surface to a 9 inch circle. Brush with 1 T of the melted butter and sprinkle with 3 T of the cheese. Cut into 8 wedges, and starting with the wide end, roll each to point. Place on greased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining portions.

Bake in moderate (375°) oven 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
