4 Medium Yams
2/3 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Water
2 Tablespoons Butter
1/4 Cup Currents or Raisins
1/4 Cup Brandy

Directions:
Directions:
Boil unpeeled yams for 20 minutes until soft. Cool, peel and quarter and arrange in a buttered baking dish. Bring to boil sugar, water, currents, butter and brandy. Pour over prepared yams. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F. Baste several times during cooking.
