7 medium eggs
4 cups flour

Beat eggs and mix flour bit by bit while kneading the dough. (See side note below. If ripper not available...) Roll the dough out an 1/8" and let dry real crisp and crumble by hand. Duck is the usual meat eaten with this type of soup. Cook the crumbs in the duck broth for 3 minutes before serving. Salt to taste. Cook 1 cup of crumbs with 2 1/2 cups of duck broth. Season to taste with onion powder.
