1 pre-baked pie shell, deep dish
Filling:
Fresh strawberries, washed, capped and sliced
3/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 TBSP cornstarch
1/2 pack of strawberry Jell-O
Topping: Optional
Cool Whip or whipped cream

Directions:
Mix together water, sugar and cornstarch and heat in saucepan, stirring until thick. Boil about one minute. Mix with 1/2 pack Jell-O. Put in fridge. Mound sliced strawberries in cooked pie shell. Pour chilled Jell-O mixture over berries. Chill. Add topping if desired.
