2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
food coloring (optional)

Mix and boil sugar, butter, and karo syrup in saucepan for 2 minutes or until soft ball. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and food coloring for desired color. Let stand 1 minute. Pour over popped corn. Shape into balls.
