2 cups cooked squash
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 stick of butter
salt & pepper
1/3 lb ground sausage
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Pepperidge farm dressing (small package)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook squash. Drain, add margarine. (I retain the drained liquid to use if necessary for to get the consistency I of stuffing) Crumble and brown sausage with onion. Drain off fat and add to squash. Add dressing, enough to make the mixture have the consistency of stuffing. Bake for 15 minutes at 350º. Top with cheese and return to the oven to melt the cheese.
