1 6-ounce package (1 cup) semisweet chocolate pieces
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sour cream
2 1/2 powdered sugar

In a saucepan melt chocolate and butter over low heat. (Easy to scorch). Stirring frequently. Cool about 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Gradually add powdered sugar till desired consistency.

This frosting is great with the Chocolate-Chocolate Cake. I like it the consistency to drip off the edges when I put it on a bundt cake and I like it on the sour side, goes well with rich chocolate. If you were going to frost layers you would want it on the firmer side. Jeff grew up eating leftover frosting on graham crackers. I just eat it out of the bowl.
