1 cup water
1 stick butter
1/2 cup oil
2 cups flour
1 3/4 cups sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:
5 tbsp. buttermilk
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 lb powdered sugar ( I usually use more)
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Put water, stick of butter and oil in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Put flour, sugar, salt, and cocoa in mixing bowl. Pour hot ingredients over flour mixture and beat till creamy. Add buttermilk, baking soda, eggs, & vanilla. Beat well. Pour into greased and floured cookie sheet (will be thin). Bake at 400 for 18 minutes. Then cool.

Frosting:
Bring 1 stick butter, cocoa, and buttermilk to a boil. Remove from heat and add marshmallows, beat until melted. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth and consistence that you want. Spread on brownies while hot, will set up like fudge.

I don't know how this became Leroy's Brownies, except I usually make them every time he comes up and everyone just started calling them that, because that would be the only time I would make them.
