1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and water in saucepan. Cook to soft ball stage. Beat egg whites until stiff enough to hold a point. Pour hot syrup very slowly in a thin stream into beaten egg whites. Continue to beat until frosting holds peaks. Blend in vanilla.
